Angela Taylor

Angela qualified as a physiotherapist from St George's Hospital Medical School (London) in 2005. She is an experienced and specialized physiotherapist in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She has extensive experience working both within both the NHS and private sectors treating a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions.

In addition to this she also has experience of working in various sporting environments including triathlon, athletics and professional football.

She is trained to Masters level in musculoskeletal triage, acupuncture and pain management. In 2010, Angela completed a postgraduate diploma in applied exercise physiology and is currently studying for an MSc in sport and exercise rehabilitation.

Angela’s specialist Interests include: chronic pain management, exercise based rehabilitation and running lower limb biomechanics.

Physiotherapy


Physiotherapy works with people to identify and maximise their ability to move and function. Functional movement is a key part of what it means to be healthy. This means that physiotherapy plays a key role in enabling people to improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.
Physiotherapy can treat a broad range of conditions including the following:


Back, neck and spinal pain

(Chronic Pain, Whiplash injuries, headaches, discogenic lesions ‘Slipped disc’, Muscular back pain, Posture related back and neck problems)

Sports Injuries

(Tennis/golfer’s elbow, Achilles tendonitis, shoulder impingement, ligament sprains, acute muscle injuries, biomechanical chronic overuse injuries)

Post-surgical rehabilitation

(ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, meniscal repair, joint hip/knee replacement)

Physiotherapy can include a broad range of treatments to help relieve pain and help you to achieve your goals:
